From a young age, I, Mohit Ahuja, quickly recognized that my strengths were not in science or mathematics. However, I discovered a deep passion for storytelling. Writing poems, capturing moments through photography, and even experimenting with filmmaking and music sparked my creativity. In college, when given the choice between a music system for the family car and a DSLR camera, I chose the camera. Over 20 years later, my journey with photography has not only made me a professional photographer, but has also led me to pioneer India’s first training program for specially-abled individuals to become professional photographers under my organization, KnowDisability.org. For me, photography is more than just a career—it's my breath of fresh air, especially when life gets challenging.
