Refund and Cancellation Policy
At COG India Art Foundation, we understand that plans can change and we strive to be accommodating. Below are the details of our refund and cancellation policy for both workshops and exhibitions.
Workshops:
More than 20 days before the start date: Eligible for a 100% refund of the booking amount.
Between 10 to 20 days before the start date: Eligible for an 80% refund of the booking amount.
Between 5 to 10 days before the start date: Eligible for a 50% refund of the booking amount.
Less than 5 days before the start date: No refund will be issued.
Exhibition Fee:
More than 50 days before the event: 100% refund, no conditions apply.
Between 30 to 50 days before the event: 70% refund; 50% refund if your social media profile related to the exhibition has been published.
Less than 30 days before the event: No refund will be issued.

To cancel your participation and request a refund or credit note, please contact us at chhobioghor@gmail.com with your booking details.
Please allow up to 5-7 Business days for the processing of your refund.
Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment unless specified otherwise.
Artwork and Goods Sale:
Our refund and returns policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your donation/purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused (in case of products) and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, and Dokra items without any breakage cannot be returned.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable products
- Food items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at chhobioghor@gmail.com and send your item to: COG INDIA ART FOUNDATION, Chhobi-o-Ghor Art Gallery, 16 Lake Temple Road, Kolkata – 700029.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: COG INDIA ART FOUNDATION, Chhobi-o-Ghor Art Gallery, 16 Lake Temple Road, Kolkata – 700029.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
