Rules and regulations
for Displaying your artwork in Chhobi-o-Ghor Art Gallery online store
- The listing of your artwork in online shop is completely free as a flagship project under COG INDIA ART FOUNDATION scheme
- Artwork must be the original work of the artist. The artist must own all rights to the artwork, including any intellectual property rights.
- Artwork must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. This includes, but is not limited to, copyright, trademark, and trade secret rights.
- Artwork must be of high quality and suitable for display in an online store. The artist must provide high-resolution images of the artwork.
- Artwork must be accurately represented in the images provided. The images should be an accurate reflection of the colors, texture, and other characteristics of the artwork.
- The artist must provide accurate information about the artwork, including the title, medium, dimensions, and any other relevant information.
- The artwork must not be too big to ship. Kindly make your best judgement while listing your works. Small and medium size works preferable rather than large artworks.
- The artist must grant permission for the artwork to be displayed and sold on the online store.
- The artist must agree to allow the online store to use images of the artwork for promotional purposes, including social media and email marketing.
- The artist must be in possession of the artwork and must have the legal right to sell the artwork.
- If the artist sells the artwork outside of the online store, the artist must inform the gallery via email within 2 days of the sale.
- If the artwork is sold through the online store, the gallery will deduct a commission of 33% of the sale value of the artwork.
- The artist must ship the artwork to Chhobi-o-Ghor Art Gallery within 3 days of receiving notification of the sale. This also includes authentication certificates. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of registration.
- In the case of paintings, the gallery prefers that the artwork be shipped by rolling the work.
- The artist must agree to the terms of the online store’s commission structure, including the percentage of the sale price that will be paid to the artist.
- The artist must agree to the terms and conditions of the online store, including the refund and returns policy, shipping policy, and any other relevant policies.
- The listing will be purely on selection basis by the Chhobi-o-Ghor Art Gallery authorities and its advisors. All decision regarding this matter will be final and cannot be challenged.
