Born on January 1, 1966, in Dinhata, Pabitra Saha has come a long way in his artistic journey. He began his formal education in Dinhata College and went on to complete his Bachelor in Visual Arts (BVA) from the prestigious Government College of Art & Craft, Calcutta University in 1988. Under the guidance of eminent artist Suvaprasanna Bhattacharjee, Pabitra honed his skills in painting over a period of four years (1982-1985).
Throughout his career, Pabitra has participated in numerous exhibitions, showcasing his talent and versatility. His love for nature and landscapes is evident in his captivating artwork, and his ability to create harmony between colors, forms, and textures is truly mesmerizing. Some of his notable exhibitions include "Between Sound & Silence" held at Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi, and Nehru Centre, Mumbai, as well as his solo landscape exhibition at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata in 2022.
Pabitra's work has been collected by art enthusiasts and collectors across Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolkata, Pune, and the USA, attesting to his growing global recognition. Now fully dedicated to art, Pabitra Saha continues to create breathtaking landscapes that transport viewers to a serene and harmonious world. His latest solo exhibition, "Hidden Harmonies," is a testament to his artistic journey and a celebration of his unwavering passion for capturing the essence of nature on canvas.
