Concept Note
The name "Chromatica" is derived from the Latin term "chroma," meaning color. It represents the core essence of this exhibition, which is to delve into the profound influence and potential of colors as a medium of expression in art. Through this exhibition, we intend to take the audience on an immersive journey through the spectrum of emotions, memories, and perspectives that the enchanting tapestry of colors evoke in both artists and viewers alike. It witnesses the conglomeration of myriad forms, styles and a plethora of techniques bringing together the expertise and ingenious vision of eight talented artists where boundaries between different artistic mediums are dissolved, encouraging artists to push their creative boundaries stimulating curiosity and introspection. The coexistence of these contrasting styles features the visual narrative, highlighting the limitless possibilities of colors as a universal language for personal and cultural expression. Chromatica aims at encouraging collaboration and experimentation among artists from different disciplines and foster appreciation for the transformative potential of collective, unified art in shaping perceptions and experiences.
