This category invites photographers to reflect on the relationship between memory and landscape — the traces left behind, the stories rooted in soil, the weight of time on everyday scenes. From rural fields and forgotten settlements to emotional geographies of identity and heritage, submissions should explore how the earth holds, resists, or recalls presence and passage.
This category explores the vast and evolving cultural expressions of India. Photographs should capture traditions, rituals, festivals, performing arts, crafts, and the lived practices that define different communities. From a potter’s wheel in Kumbharpara to the intensity of Muharram or the joy of Rath Yatra, each image should narrate a cultural moment with depth and respect.
This category highlights the quiet drama and resilience of India’s fauna. Submissions may include wild animals in their natural habitats, conservation efforts, or compelling interactions between species and landscapes. The focus is on authenticity and ecological storytelling — not spectacle — to promote awareness and respect for wildlife across India’s diverse bioregions.
This is a space for experimentation and personal voice. Photographs that don’t fall into the other categories — including street, abstract, conceptual, archival reinterpretations, or unconventional documentation — are welcome here. Let this be a canvas for bold ideas and boundary-breaking frames
