Monalisa Sarkar Mitra, born in West Bengal and raised in Jharkhand, draws her artistic influence from the natural beauty of her home state. Infused with impressions of the verdant surroundings and the serene lifestyle, her art is a reflection of her upbringing and an intimate connection with nature. Alongside these, Mitra has enriched her skills through various workshops such as the Tamluk Art Camp, Midnapore, and the Elephant Colour Co., Bardhaman, helping her continually evolve as an artist. Holding a Diploma in Painting (Ankan Ratna) and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Honors), Mitra's art combines both creativity and practicality, a unique fusion that sets her apart.
