Sumanta Sarkar, now retired, was professionally an engineer who worked with various reputed organizations in India, including multinational corporations and esteemed Indian firms like Tata. Having retired from his engineering career, he has turned his focus towards his passion for photography, particularly his love for wildlife and natural landscapes. Sumanta is an avid explorer of India’s rich biodiversity, having visited 23 national parks and sanctuaries across the country. His photographic journey captures everything from insects to elephants, reveling in the natural habitats of diverse flora and fauna. As an amateur photographer, Sumanta continues to seek out new experiences in nature, aiming to capture and share the splendor of the world around him through his lens.
