I am Rajib Chakraborty, a working executive in the Instrumentation Department of Durgapur Steel Plant, SAIL, and a proud member of the Institute of Engineers (India). Despite the demands of my profession in the heavy industry sector, I find my creative escape in amateur photography. For me, photography is more than just a hobby — it’s my way to pause, observe, and capture the fleeting beauty of everyday life. By day, I balance steel and circuits, and in my leisure, I play with light and shadows. Whether I’m capturing vibrant streets, the subtle play of light, or candid moments, I try to tell stories that resonate with simplicity and depth. Over the years, my work has been exhibited at several local galleries and themed exhibitions, where it received warm appreciation. I strongly believe that art and industry can coexist, and I try to inspire others to find time for their passions, no matter how busy life gets.
