I am a final-year PhD student in Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge and a human rights researcher. My academic work informs my photographic practice, which is rooted in quiet observation and sustained attention. I photograph everyday rituals, informal labor, and the choreography of public space — particularly in urban and semi-urban India. My images often focus on moments that are overlooked: gestures repeated daily, people in transition, or the poetry of movement through crowded streets. I am drawn to atmospheres shaped by season, time, and texture — especially the monsoon and its unfolding rhythms. Working mostly in natural light, I strive to make images that are intimate without intrusion, and documentary without detachment.
