My name is Anurag Pani. I was born and raised in Odisha, a place full of colors, stories, and simple beauty. Since childhood, I’ve always loved seeing the world a little differently—finding meaning in small moments, beauty in ordinary things. That curiosity came to life when I picked up a camera for the first time in 2019. I started by capturing nature—the sky, the trees, the way light falls quietly on leaves. But my real journey began when I joined my college’s official photography club. There, I got to explore photography more deeply. There, I met Philip, my friend who showed me the poetry of the streets. Through his lens, I saw not just faces, but emotions... not just movement, but meaning. That was the moment I found my calling. What I seek in photography is not perfection, but truth—the raw, unfiltered emotions of people, the stories written in their eyes, the warmth in a fleeting smile. To me, the world is now a canvas of untold tales. Through my lens, I want to offer a different gaze—one that sees the extraordinary in the ordinary, one that listens to the silence, and finds stories in shadows. This is my way of seeing. And through these frames, I hope you see it too.
