Photography found me early, through the eyes of my father, Late Gautam Basu, a photographer and painter whose quiet passion lit the spark in me. His old analog Minolta SLR became my first window to the world, shaping how I saw light, life, and beauty. As time passed, studies and work pulled me away from the camera. But some passions wait patiently. Recently, I returned this time through the wildlife, inspired by the encouragement of my friend Mrinmoy Sen and the steady guidance of Tridib Khanra, my friend, philosopher, and guide. Each frame now feels like a conversation with nature, with memory, with myself. I walk this path with gratitude, wonder, and a humble hope to keep learning what the lens quietly teaches.
