My works are the interpretation of what I observe in the society as a part of it. As I live in a metro city so the society that I encounter in my routine is the modern, developing and ambitious one. I saw the landscape around my area changing rapidly and abreast the urbanization.
My works are rooted and inspired from the urban life. Its fast and constantly changing landscape, construction, deconstruction, glamour, lights, plasticity, rat race, restlessness, ambiguity, meaninglessness, the constant fights for power, surviving always make me feel wonder and those existential question arises, where the life is moving what is its meaning? As a human being and as an artist what should be my basic concerns?
My artwork takes a critical view of social, political and cultural issues. As a human being I observe different people around me and their behavior with others in different situations. Some of my subject matter is about people's daily routines and a comment on human nature. As we are social animal and our society is a power oriented society. Few people are dominating millions. They decorate their selves with beautiful mask and covers to hide their own personality. They imitate somebody else and use mask for adjusting their selves with others.
My work is not intended to be viewed as fantasy or as a blend of everyday experiences and the subconscious. My paintings are enigmatic, and they create dream-like worlds that invite viewers to form their own interpretations of imagery presented.
My influences are first and foremost everything I see, feel and experience. During research and production new areas of interest arise and lead to the next body of work.
