Rabin Mondal, born Rabindra Nath in 1929 and passing away at the age of 90 on 2 July 2019 , was an eminent Indian painter from Howrah who achieved national recognition for his work. He belongs to a pioneering generation of painters known as The Calcutta Painters whose works were showcased during retrospective exhibitions throughout India in 2005- establishing him amongst some of the greatest talents that India has seen!
