COG India Art Foundation is proud to present the National Level Children Art Exhibition & Competition (Chapter – 8) —a celebration of young minds, creativity, and self-expression. We invite young artists from across the country to showcase their talent and imagination in this nationally recognized event at ICCR (Indian council for cultural Relations) Kolkata, from 20 – 22 Feb 2026.

This exhibition is designed to inspire the next generation of artists by offering them a prestigious platform to express themselves through colors, shapes, and stories—building confidence, community, and a lifelong love for art.

About the Organizers

The Children Art Exhibition & Competition is the flagship event of COG India Art Foundation, a pioneering not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting Indian art and artists. With a growing network of over 5000+ professional and amateur artists nationwide, COG has curated numerous exhibitions across Indian cities, enabling valuable exposure for artists of all ages.

At the heart of its work is the Chhobi-o-Ghor Art Gallery in Kolkata—an active space for creative development and artistic dialogue. COG also runs an active blog that highlights Indian artists, their journeys, and the stories behind their work.

  • Group A: 4 to 9 years

  • Group B: 9+ to 16 years

20 Winning Artworks (10 per group)

Each group will have 5 award categories with 2 winners each:

  1. Imagination Award – For originality, playful ideas, and creative freedom

  2. Technique Award – For skilled execution, color control, and composition

  3. Observation Award – For sensitive depiction of real-life surroundings

  4. Storytelling Award – For artworks that narrate a story or evoke emotion

  5. Young Visionary Award – For bold ideas, innovation, or social relevance

    Application & Submission Guidelines

    📥

    Step 1 – Online Submission

    • Submit 6 to 12 original artworks (created solely by the child) to Whatsapp (7595957063) or email (chhobioghor@gmail.com)

    • First submission is virtual: Send clear photographs of the artworks via Whatsapp (7595957063) or email (chhobioghor@gmail.com) along with the name and age

    • Creativity

    Artworks are evaluated within their age group to ensure fairness.

    Selection Notification

    • Shortlisted participants will be informed via email or WhatsApp

    • Only selected artworks proceed to physical exhibition

    Exhibition Fee

    • INR 900 per selected artwork
      (minimum 2 – maximum 6)

    • Covers:

      • Exhibition display

      • Event logistics

      • Certificate, medal, and curation support

    Final Submission & Framing

    • Submit the original, framed artwork at the venue by the communicated deadline ( On 19th Feb – ICCR, Before 19 Feb – COG Gallery) – details will be given later.

    • Framing Guidelines:

      • Frame Color (White, black, Wooden, or brown)

      • Frame Material: Fiber or Wooden

      • Frame width ≤ 1.5 inches

      • Mount width (if used) ≤ 1 inch

      • Two side hooks for hanging (no center hook)

      • Framing is Mandatory before submission of paintings (Except canvas) – Parents must frame the paintings.

    Maximum size limit: A3 size (12in x 18in)

    Larger works may require additional handling fees.
